Tweet Mid afternoon on June 17th Georgetown reported  to the 2200 block of Chicago Dr on a reported small fire on the roof of  the RV Camping  building. Tweet A fast moving storm system moved into the area on June 14th. All three stations where on duty with mulitple calls for power lines down, trees down and one call for possible person trapped by a tree. No injuries reported with any of the calls that night. Share on Facebook

    We allow a small camp fire in the backyard using clean wood with no permit needed. No brush or garbage allowed. If a complaint is called in, you will be asked to put your fire out. For more information on the ordinance follow the link "camp fires" on the right or call the Fire Chief Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. 457-2340.
