Car fire at local drive-in

Sunday night, July 27th around 10:45pm Georgetown fire was called to McDonald’s on Chicago Dr. for a car fire next to the building. The fire was contained to the vehicle with no damage to the building.  The driver was unharmed.  more photos Share on Facebook

I-196 truck accident

Monday morning rush hour traffic was brought to a crawl when a service truck ran into a gravel train truck. The crash occurred around 8:10am on I-196 eastbound just east of the M-6 ramp. Chicago Dr & Port Sheldon crash

On July 7th a car crossing Chicago Dr was hit by a Dodge truck. Georgetown fire department assisted Police with removal of the roof and traffic control. Aero med was called and landed on Chicago Dr dropping of doctors to help assist with patient care. Share on Facebook

Tractor Fire

On the fourth of  July the call came in for a tractor on fire off the road in a field. With the help of Blendon fire department the fireman had to walk into the location of the fire due to the excessive rain and the distance from the road. Share on Facebook
