Car fire on M-6

Station 1 along with Jamestown Fire Department responded on Friday April 17th to a car fire on the M-6. The fire was a result of a rear end collision. Minor injuries were reported. more pics Share on Facebook

Car hits fire hydrant

A car hit a fire hydrant early Friday April 17th near Fillmore and Cottonwood . The car filled with water after shearing the hydrant off and flooding the local streets. Railroad ties catch fire

If you saw the thick smoke on Friday April 10th you were not the only one.  A few buildings from the Ottawa County Road Commission a pile of railroad ties started on fire.  Station 1,2,3 along with Hudsonville fire were called to contain the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. more pics Share on Facebook

Close call with a car fire

New truck delivery

Georgetown Fire Department took delivery of a 2009 GMC suburban. This truck is driven by the fire chief Dan Hamming. It is equipped with hand tools and medical gear, as well as used for incident command. The old chief’s truck was converted to a medical squad placed in service at Station 3. Share on Facebook
