Tweet   Georgetown Station 1 responded with Jamestown Fire around 1 pm to a reported house fire on Adams St. Upon arrival, the house was fully involved with fire and there was no chance to save it.  A crane had to be called in to get at the smoldering hot spots in the 120 year old house. [...]

  • Burning Permits

    We allow a small camp fire in the backyard using clean wood with no permit needed. No brush or garbage allowed. If a complaint is called in, you will be asked to put your fire out. For more information on the ordinance follow the link "camp fires" on the right or call the Fire Chief Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. 457-2340.
