January, 12 2010 Georgetown Station 3 was called around 7:30 AM to assist police with a two car crash on Port Sheldon between 36th Ave and 40th Ave. The teen driver of one vehicle was trapped upon arrival. The Jaws of Life were used to quickly remove the teen driver from his car. Station 1 was called to setup a landing zone at Alward School for the Aero-med Helicopter. The teen driver died due to his injuries in the crash and the driver of the truck had minor injuries.  Our prayers go out to the teen’s family and friends.
